Q. There are other zinc products on the market. How is Nu-Life’s different?
A. This formula includes copper to help balance zinc intake levels. As supplemental levels of zinc increase, absorption of copper may be impaired, therefore the addition of copper prevents copper deficiency. Another unique difference is the addition of vitamin and herbal ingredients that help deliver greater health benefits and provide synergistic support to zinc in helping to support immune function, wound healing, skin health and prostate health.
Q. Will I get too much of some nutrients if I take OPTI-ZINC 50 with my Nu-Life Multivitamin?
A. No, you can use these products together. OPTI-ZINC 50 was formulated making the assumption that a person might be taking any one of our multivitamin formulas.
Q. Is OPTI-ZINC 50 safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
A. In general, the ingredients are deemed safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it is recommended that you check with your health care practitioner to determine the safe dosage levels for you specifically.
Q. Does this product contain gluten or other allergens?
A. All of our Basic Booster products including OPTI-ZINC 50 are gluten-free. Please check the label for the allergen disclaimer. If it states “free from wheat” or “gluten”, this indicates the product does not contain gluten. See the ingredients listing to view the list of allergens/ingredients not contained in the product.
Q. I am taking medication, is it safe to take with this supplement?
