Q. I notice you have 2 ratios of Cal/Mag products. How do I know which one is best for me?
A. If you consume little or no dairy products in your diet, a 2:1 ratio where twice the amount of calcium is provided versus magnesium is best suited. All other diet types should consider taking a 1:1 ratio where the amount of calcium is equal to the amount of magnesium.
Q. The product information states that there are “added key nutrients to protect calcium from interrupted absorption”. Can you tell me more about this?
A. Substances in our food can attach onto the calcium we ingest and make a calcium molecule that is too large to enter through the absorption sites to get into our bodies. Ingredients such as PHYTASE, and the form of the calcium we use, help prevent this “interrupted absorption”. This means you’ll absorb more of our calcium products with this truly unique formula versus other brands.

A. No, you can use these products together. OPTI CAL/MAG 2:1 was formulated making the assumption that a person might be taking any one of our multivitamin formulas.
Q. Is OPTI CAL/MAG 2:1 safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
A. In general, the ingredients are deemed safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it is recommended that you check with your health care practitioner to determine the safety levels for you specifically.
Q. Are Vegi-Caps better than caplets for absorption?
A. When comparing the same formula, vegi-caps do dissolve faster and provide quicker absorption. This may be advantageous to individuals with sluggish digestion.

A. All of our Basic Booster products including OPTI CAL/MAG 2:1 are gluten-free. Please check the label for the allergen disclaimer.
